Suggests that these do not threaten the profession but are a driver to its becoming a key information player. Defines the two terms and explains that they are linked. Suggests that it is possible to develop creative skills without necessarily feeling creative, and to facilitate sessions where creativity is needed. Includes advice on a range of creative techniques for encouraging ideas, including risk taking, visualizing, daydreaming, SWOT analysis, brainstorming, learning from mistakes and extending ones circle of contacts to obtain a fresh view of the problem.
